PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recording sheet which has excellent ink absorptivity and drying characteristics, no stain and no stickiness, and excellent image quality or particularly suitability for OHP sheet by providing an ink receiving layer containing polyalkylene oxide water soluble polymer and an alumina sol as main ingredients on a support. SOLUTION: An ink receiving layer containing a polyalkylene-oxide water soluble polymer and an alumina sol as main ingredients is provided on a support of a light permeable recording medium for OHP. The polymer is not particularly limited, but a water soluble compound having a range of weight - average molecular weight of 10,000 or more, or preferably 10,000 to 150,000 such as, for example, a polyethylene oxide, or an ethylene oxide-propylene oxide copolymer is used. As the alumina sol, a colloidal solution of alumina hydrate having a mean particle size of 5 to 200nm is used, and the mixing ratio of the colloidal solution to the polymer is set to a range of 80:20 to 20:80. |
