PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obviate the need of providing a seal at a gap by providing a stencil printer, comprising an ink roller for feeding ink to the inner surface of plate cylinder and an ink feeding means having a doctor roller, with an ink repellent layer on the outer circumferential surface of doctor roller. SOLUTION: An ink repellent layers 13, 14, 15 and 16 are formed, respectively, on the outer circumferential surface of a doctor roller 6, on the inner circumferential surface of a supporting side plate 4, on the side face of an ink roller 5, and on the outer circumferential surface of ink roller 5 at the end part thereof. When printing operation is performed with such a structure, ink does not adhere to the outer circumferential surface of doctor roller 6 because of the repellent layer 13 and circulates well in an ink reservoir 11 even if it is not stirred by means of a rod member through a drive means thus causing no interruption of ink supply. Furthermore, ink is prevented from oozing through the gap between the shaft part and bearing at the rotary part of plate cylinder and smearing the printer. |
