PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent formation of a defective image due to deformation of a belt-like image carrier. SOLUTION: The image forming system comprising a belt-like image carrier 34 turning while being entrained about a plurality of rollers 35-40 is provided with means for setting the area, touching the rollers 36, 37 having smallest diameter among the plurality of rollers 35-40 when the belt-like image carrier 34 is stopping and waiting, as a non-image part area in the rotational, direction of belt-like image carrier 34. |
