<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the rewriting operation of image data from having effect on other image data by clarifying the relationship between the size of split memory area of a memory means stored with an image data and the size of split image data. SOLUTION: The image forming system comprises a hard disc 108 for storing an image data in a plurality of memory areas sectioned at a constant interval, and a CPU 101 for splitting an image data into data of same size which is larger than, equal to, or smaller than the sectioned memory area of hard disc 108 and then storing the split data, while compressing, in an image compressing/ expanding section 107.</p> |
