PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold the speed of a moving body at a preliminary settled speed by automatically shifting an automatic transmission if the speed of moving body reaches a speed not intended by an operator. SOLUTION: A microcomputer 8 detects the fact that a moving body is traveling at a speed beyond a settled speed memorized by 2 memory part 14 in a down slope of drive mode as well as an operator does not make any acceleration operation by such an input signal as of an inclination sensor 6, of a speed sensor 5, of an ON/OFF discrimination circuit 4 of acceleration pedal and of a shift device 2 and outputs a command as a control signal to an automatic transmission controller 10 by selecting an appropriate gear ratio (a gear ratio to make the moving body at the settled speed) corresponding to a settled speed of every inclination angle memorized in the memory part 14. The automatic transmission 10 changes a gear of an automatic transmission device 11 to make the speed of the moving body as the settled speed. The microcomputer 8 outputs a control signal to an engine controller 12 to change the ignition timing of the engine and output torque for smoothing the gear shift of the automatic transmission 11. |
