PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce the subject protein derived from a human brain and human lungs and useful for development, etc., of medicines containing a receptor agonist or antagonist. SOLUTION: This guanine nucleotide-binding protein (G-protein)-coupled type receptor protein derived from a human brain and human lungs or its salt or further a partial peptide of the G-protein coupled type receptor protein or its salt comprises the same or the substantially same amino acid sequence as that of formula I or II. The G-protein coupled type receptor protein is obtained from a tissue of a warm-blooded animal or its cell according to a well-known method for purification.
