发明名称 METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR CONTROLLING ELECTRIC DRIVING SHIFTER
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a same electrically-driven shifter to be used for vehicles having different voltage sources. SOLUTION: A shift finger 10 selectively engaged with shift finger blocks 11-13 is driven by electric motors 18, 20 which are adapted for a 12V power source. The power voltage for vehicles in Europe, however, is of 24V type in general. To use such a shifter as mentioned above, in the case of the shifter for Europe vehicle type transmission only 12V is used effectively from the voltage supplied by the 24v power source. Namely, by limiting the ratio of pulse width demodulation duty cycle to 50% and converting 24V power source voltage into 12V the shifter can be used. Whenever the voltage is below 24V, duty cycle is immediately increased to obtain stabilized voltage of 12V.
