PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize harmful heavy metals contained in waste including municipal refuse burned ash, slag, sludge, and shredder dust, especially in alkaline burned soot and dust discharged from an incinerator to prevent the re-elution of the heavy metals. SOLUTION: A mixture of 100 pts.wt. of waste containing at least one kind of harmful metal selected from a group consisting of lead, chromium, copper, and zinc and 3-30 pts.wt. of a waste treatment material containing at least two kinds of main components selected from a group consisting of aluminum hydroxide which is amorphous from X-ray analysis, a powdery porous inorganic absorbent, and a water soluble phosphate is mixed with water as necessity requires and kneaded. |
