PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hollow foam which uniformly foams in the entirety and in which a malfunction such as a warpage or a bent does not occur or particularly a deformed profile hollow foam in which the sectional profile has a rectangular shape as a whole. SOLUTION: A foamable resin composition is melted, extruded by a mold 20 having an inner core 21, foamed to manufacture a hollow foam 30. In this case, refrigerant is circulated into a cooling tube 22 disposed in the core at the center of the core and cooling tubes 23 of both the ends of the core, and the core 21 is so cooled that the surface temperature of the center of the core becomes lower than the surface temperatures of both the ends. This method is applied to a method for manufacturing a hollow foam by passing it through a cooling sizing sleeve while extrusion foaming by a mold having an inner core 21 and a cooling sizing core protruding from the core 21. |
