PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for discharging liquid drops fast and stably in a type of recorder which files ink drops toward a recording medium by using heat energy. SOLUTION: This recorder wherein a part of ink in an ink route is vaporized quickly by passing a pulse to a heating resistor provided near an ink outlet, ink drops are discharged from the outlet by the expansion force of the bubbles. The surface temperature of the heating resistor is increased quickly to a temperature which produces caviar-like nucleate boiling in the ink, and the heating speed is set to be 1×10<8> -5×10<8> deg.C/sec. |
