<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming body of which the gradation, color and others change when an angle or a direction of sight is varied, by a method wherein an information display part composed of a group of shading-linelike indentation patterns inclined at a prescribed angle and of a group of shading-linelike indentation patterns for a back inclined at a different angle from the above is formed on the surface of a thin film layer having light interference properties. SOLUTION: This image forming body has a construction wherein an information display part 5 constructed of an information display region constituted of a group of minute shading- linelike indentation patterns inclined at a prescribed angle and of a back display region constituted of a group of shading-linelike indentation patterns for a back being in contact with the information display region and inclined at a different angle from this is formed on the surface of a thin film layer 3 which is provided on a base material 1 with an adhesive layer 2 interlaid and has light interference properties. The body has also a protective layer 4 having release properties, for the purpose of protecting the light interference layer 3 and the part below it after transfer. This image forming body is manufactured by a method wherein a transfer leaf provided with the thin film layer 3 and the base material 1 are put on each other on a substrate and the substrate is released by pressing a stamper whereon the two display regions are formed, from the substrate side of the transfer leaf.</p> |
