PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distributing method and a device thereof by which a shape, a dimension, and the like of conveyed articles are recognized by means of an image processing device, counting close to human visual sense is carried out, and the articles are distributed into a target number of articles. SOLUTION: An article 28 on a counting conveyor 2 is photographed by means of a CCD camera 4, image data for the article 28 is taken into an image processing unit 6 so as to be stored, an area is extracted from the image data and a counting process is carried out, and then, comparison computing between a target number, which is set in an operation setting display unit 17 for every conveying conveyor before driving, and a cumulative number for every conveying conveyor is carried out by means of a CPU in a control unit 11. If each of the cumulative numbers exceed the target number, a distributing conveyor 19 is operated on the basis of a command from the control unit 11 so as to convey the articles counted in this time to another conveying conveyor, and if each of the cumulative numbers is not more than each target number, the articles are conveyed to the original conveying conveyor so as to be discharged to a tray 27 when the target number is attained. |
