PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remodel a bathtub easily in a short term of works by previously molding a bathtub remodeling material capable of covering the surface of an existing bathtub to be remodeled by resin working, forming an adhesive layer consisting of adhesives between the existing bathtub and bathtub remodeling material and joining both with each other. SOLUTION: When a bathtub stained or broken due to the use for a long period or the external impact is remodeled, a bathtub remodeling material formed by resin working to cover the surface of an existing bathtub 1 and have a drain hole and an overflow hole as remodeling hole parts 4 fitting an existing hole part 3 like a drain hole, overflow hole or the like existing in the existing bathtub 1 is prepared. The bathtub remodeling material 2 is fitted in the existing bathtub to be remodeled and covered with the material 2 while an adhesive layer 5 consisting of adhesives is formed between both bathtubs 1, 2 to join both bathtubs with each other. The bathtub remodeling material 1 is of a structure that all parts are made of a acrylic resin plate or of a double-layer structure consisting of a skin material made of methacrylic resin and a base material made of ABS resin. |
