PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ionomer resin composition composed of anα-olefin/ unsaturated carboxylic acid copolymer and giving a molded article having sufficient flexibility and excellent mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, oil resistance, etc. SOLUTION: This resin composition contains (a) an ionomer resin composed of anα-olefin/unsaturated carboxylic acid copolymer and (b) a hydrogenated block copolymer produced by the hydrogenation of a block copolymer having at least one polymer block A composed of a polybutadiene having a 1,2-bond content of <=20% and at least one polymer block B composed of a conjugated diene compound (the 1,2-bond content is >=25% when the polymer block B is a block composed of polybutadiene) at a weight ratio (a)/(b) of 95/5 to 5/95.
