FIELD: industrial conveyance and hoisting facilities; horizontal motion of piece and containerized cargoes at mass from 50 to 100 kg sliding over plane of motion and positioning the cargoes being transported at stop points. SUBSTANCE: walking-beam conveyer has housing with stops mounted on it for hoisting and lowering pushers; reciprocating over housing is carriage with pushers secured to it in its lower portion; pushers are interconnected by means of rods and extreme position turn limiters. For forced turn of pushers with rod on carriage at hoisting position at the beginning of working stroke and lowering them during return stroke, as well as for locking them in these positions, stop for lowering the pushers at return stroke of carriage is made in the form of flag located across longitudinal axis of conveyer at normal position; this flag acts on upper end of pusher when cargo is turned to side of housing; provision is made for self-return to normal position after passage of cargo; stop for hoisting the pushers to normal position at beginning of forward stroke is located below axis of hinge used for securing the carriage pushers; it acts on tail-piece of pushers; pushers are locked in extreme positions by means of connecting rod passing through dead center during turn of pushers from one extreme position to another; connecting rod is articulated with tail-piece of pusher; spring of connecting rod presses pushers to hoisting limiter at extreme positions during forward stroke of carriage or to lowering limiter during its return stroke.
