PLANAR HIGH-FREQUENCY ANTENNA ARRAY

FIELD: transmission and reception of linearly polarized waves. SUBSTANCE: antenna array has at least one antenna module incorporating four radiating members equidistantly arranged in one plane at square lattice nodes and cophasal waveguide power splitter where TE-o1 mode propagates. Power splitter has three identical T-joints in vector E plane whose four inputs are connected by means of rectangular waveguide sections, whose axes are perpendicular to vector E plane, to radiating members. Each radiating member has two plates with conducting surfaces tightly fitted to each other. First plate 1 has rectangular depression in central part on side facing second plate whose depth h approximately equals plate thickness. Center O of depression is located on longitudinal axis N-N of rectangular waveguide section; larger side c of depression is parallel to side a of rectangular waveguide section; made in each depression along larger sides, in immediate proximity of them, are four slits whose length e is about L/2 and their centers are at tops of square having side f smaller than L. EFFECT: improved design.
