FIELD: nondestructive testing, diagnostics of metal working under conditions of creepage, heat power industry. SUBSTANCE: method consists in periodic determination of value of creep flow of local sections of bends of pipes by binding curvature radius of local section of pipe over perimeter and height of segment of arc of this section. In this case curvature radius is assumed to be constant. Sections with highest rate of creepage are subjected to periodic test which makes it possible to find service life working of metal authentically.
