FIELD: agricultural production industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to bee-keeping. Hive bunk made of thermal insulating material has body with cover and removable bottom. Made in bottom are groove-like slots for passing bees. Additional through holes are made in grooves for passing bees. Bunk is installed for winter period above frames across aisles with grooves down to bee club to ensure possibility for bees to move inside hive. In autumn on completion of summer season, removable bottom of bunk is installed above bee-family frames with slot-grooves down and across aisles. Hive is made warmth-keeping as usual. In case additional feeding of bee-family is necessary, bunk body is fitted over bottom, thus forming vessel for paste-like feed. Then, paste-like feed is loaded into aforesaid vessel and it is closed with cover, and hive is again made warmth-keeping as usual. If additional feeding is not necessary during first spring inspection of bee-family, bottom of vessel is removed from hive. EFFECT: high efficiency. 3 dwg |
