FIELD: optical instruments, in particular, information displaying using space-time light modulators. SUBSTANCE: device has light source with collimated lenses, polarization light modulator, which is connected to projection lens using polarization spectral separator which is connected to light source and designed as cell with layer of cholesterol liquid crystal and phase plate which is mounted on cell on light source side. Another claim of invention describes device design which has additional phase plates which are mounted on sides of spectral separators which are directed to light source. In this case polarization light modulator is located between polarization spectral separators. Third claim of invention describes device design which has additional phase plates which are mounted on opposite sides of cells of spectral separators. Modulator of light and projection lens are connected through second spectral separator. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities due to possibility to display color. |
