The reamer has flutes with right or left hand or zero degree helixes. The number of flutes is greater than or equal to 4. An entry cone has a land on two relieved flutes which are non-cutting and form a rubbing surface. The other has a traditional cutting edge of a reamer and a cylindrical guide part whose diameter is very slightly less than that of the reamed hole.
