HOLDING MEANS FOR A FRONT PLATE OF A DRAWER

The invention relates to holding means (13) for a front plate (1) of a drawer with metal or plastic drawer frames (4). The front plate (1) is made of a wood material. The holding means (13) have dowels (10) which can be inserted into holes in the front plate (1) and can be secured therein using clamping means. The front ends of the drawer frames (4) have flanges (6) aligned parallel with the front plate (1)and having openings in which the holding means (13) can be fixed. The holding means (13) are provided with gripping levers (5) which are articulated to expanding members (9) arranged in the dowels (10) and projecting through the openings in the flanges (6). The expanding members (9) can be expanded or released by tilting these gripping levers (5). The dowels (10) are located on the side facing the front plate (1) and the gripping levers (5) on that side of the flange (6) which faces away from the front plate (1).
