<p>The present invention is directed to a method of treating individuals infected with HIV or at risk of being infected with HIV. The method comprises the step of administering to an individual infected with HIV or at risk of being infected with HIV, an effective amount of a solvent extract or active fraction thereof derived from bacteria.
