<p>An adjustable device for adjusting a position of an object (9, 10, 11), such as a mirror (9, 10, 11), includes a connection portion (4) where the object (9, 10, 11) is to be connected to the adjustable device, and a moveable portion (3) which is moveable in a first direction relative to the connection portion (4), the moveable portion (3) having an angled surface (5) on at least one side thereof. The adjustable device also includes an abutment portion (6) which abuts against the angled surface (5) of the moveable portion (3) such that when the moveable portion (3) moves in a first direction relative to the connection portion (4), the angled surface (5) slides along the abutment portion (6) such that a distance between the connection portion (4) and the abutment portion (6) changes in a second direction. The adjustable device may also include an adjustment mechanism (1) for translationally moving the moveable portion (3), the adjustment mechanism (1) extending in a plane parallel to a plane defined by the connection portion (4).</p> |
