<p>A novel hard crystalline coating consisting of a special mixture of polyols is disclosed. In particular, said coating has enhanced crunchiness relative to known prior art coatings. A method for preparing said coating and an improved method for forming a hard coating containing xylitol, maltitol, lactitol or mixtures thereof, are also disclosed.</p> |
