The door allows transfer of food articles through the dividing door of an apartment. It has a pressure cooker and cooling containers, steam cookers and waste containers. The door has a lock and a ventilation system. The containers can each have two doors, one accessible by the caterer and the other accessible by the occupant of the apartment. The containers can have an electrical supply to allow heating of the pressure cookers between 50 and 280 degrees C. Some of the containers can have refrigerated compartments to allow extended preservation of the food.
