When the speed of a car reaches the specified speed, the pick-up coil induces the signal electric current, which flows to the base terminal of the 1st transistor(Tr1). The amplified emitting current of the 1st transistor flows into the base of the 2nd transistor(Tr2) and the re-amplified collector current of the 2nd transistor flows in the base terminal of the 3rd transistor. So, the 3rd transistor is on and the electric current flows in the 3rd transistor, the magnetic coil stops movement, the variable core comes back, and the shift bar takes the original position.
