Electroplating barrel for a charge of loose small parts, comprising a rotary immersion barrel of polygonal form with perforated walls of an electrically non-conducting material, which is immersed in a tank of aqueous plating solution for a given duration, with stationary anodes being fixed to the tank walls. The immersion barrel (2) and a central hollow cylinder (4) contained therein, together with contact elements (14) in the annular interior of the barrel (2) for cathodic polarisation of the charge (3) in the barrel form a rigidly connected, synchronously rotating combination.
