A windscreen wiper assembly drive head comprises aligned passageways 3 formed for a pivot pin for a wiper assembly. The passageways 3 are defined either by deformed portions 4 in each side wall 5 of the body 1, or by separate flanged bearing bushes 14 inserted in the side walls. Alternatively a complete single sleeve for the pivot pin can be provided between the two side walls, with the ends of the sleeve fitting into aligned holes in the side walls. The bearing surfaces can be coated with friction-reduction material. |
