The invention concerns a ball with a rubber bladder (10), a reinforcement element (14) vulcanized on to the bladder and containing an inflation valve (16), and, surrounding the bladder (10), an outer envelope (20) made of flat, flexible material designed so that it is spherical when the bladder (10) is fully inflated. In order to avoid the ball wobbling as it rotates on its trajectory through the air, the invention proposes that a balancing element having the same weight as the reinforcement element (14) including the valve is secured in place between the bladder and outer envelope at a point on the inside surface of the section of the envelope (20) diametrically opposite the hole for the valve (16).
