The objective of the invention is an electrical resistance heating system with an electrically conducting heating layer capable of being heated by electric current, consisting of a mixture of graphite particles and hardenable binder and capable of being operated at a minimal surface temperature. According to the invention, the mixture which forms a heating layer (11) is composed of graphite particles and a water-dilutable binder and can be applied directly to a moisture-absorbent support panel by painting, spraying, screen printing or the like in such a way that the surface load in relation to the electrical heat output of the heating layer (11) is 20 to 60 W/m<2>; the support panel in an underfloor heating system has a conventional sandwich plaster board (2), a composite board or a load-distributing layer (204) with a backing heat-insulating layer (4) and suitable for interior finishing. The field of application for the invention is air conditioning in dwellings and buildings, with a homogeneous heat radiation field which can prevent forced convection of the air in a room. |
