Low located noise protection wall on railway track

The noise protection wall has a maximum height of 750 millimetres above the rail upper surface. It is located in the construction space of platforms, ramps or signal boxes, and has fixed lower noise damping plates (8) extending into the ballast (2) of the track. The lower noise damping plates extend upwards as far as the upper edge of the rails (4). The pivot point (12) of the upper noise damping plates is located close to the upper edge of the overall wall.
