The fastener has a frame (10) carrying a closure lever (30) which can be pivoted between a closure position for the door and a release position. A clamping lever (60) is pivotably mounted on the frame. A linkage (50) is linked to a linkage arm (32) of the closure lever and to a guide arm (62) of the clamp lever. The closure lever can be pivoted by an actuating device acting upon the clamp lever from a blocking position into a releasing position. During this transition the closure lever is forced past a dead point by the linkage.
