The desk (1) supporting structure is mainly of honeycomb type cardboard, paste-board etc. The sub-structure (2) consisting of at least one table support (5) and back wall (6). The table top (3) and drawers (7) are made of separate sections. The section for the table support consists of two side walls (9) and one front wall section joined by bending lines. The front wall section has a cavity for a drawer system. The outer edge parts of the side walls have incisions extending from the top edge to roughly the middle of the section. The incisions engage with matching incisions in the desk's back wall. Protuberances on the top edge of the sections engage with matching cavities in the desk top.
