Parking space coordination system

The system contains coin operated devices such as parking meters, parking ticket vending machines and barrier systems in car parks, whereby coins are inserted to obtain the use of a parking space. The coordination system can vary the cost of a parking space using a computer unit. The cost of the parking spaces can be determined according to the time of day, according to the day, i.e. distinguishing between weekdays and weekend days, or depending on how busy the car park is. The system can accommodate special tariffs deviating from the automatically determined costs.
