The cleaner, for use in an enclosed space such as a garage or test laboratory, consists of a chamber (5) containing an aqueous solution through which the exhaust gases are bubbled and rubber-covered rollers (11, 12) driving an endless belt (14) of felt impregnated with oil for the gases to pass through after they have bubbled through the liquid and which is designed to trap solid particles contained in the gas. The movement of the belt (1) is ensured by a gear train (14) which transmits a rotation to the driving rollers, while a roller (16) which is partially immersed in oil ensures a constant impregnation of the belt. An electronic circuit ensures correct functioning of the cleaner. |
