This patent describes the way closed to the side sliding of the rail, where this rail is moved a side during the first continual working run and the putlogs are turned to a correct position during the back run and during the reverse working run the rail is tamped, levelled and balanced a side. The machine used for rail moving a side which is completed based on the rails (2) and transversal putlogs (3), consists of the machine frame (5) placed on the bogies and on this frame, there is placed a hoist moving aggregate being able to pre-set related to the height and side, the rails with the mill tools closed to the equipment used for lapping of the individual cross putlogs (3) located in the rail level, equipped with the equalising tool (15) being able to pre-set in a longitudinal direction of the rail, and at least one tamping aggregate (22), being able to pre-set related to the height with the use of the drive and it is equipped with the vibration tamping tools (25), being able to pre-set. The lapping equipment (16) of the putlogs (3), being able to pre-set in the longitudinal direction of the rail creates, together with the shifting aggregate (13) of the rail, a common compact working unit (17), having the common frame (18) of the aggregate. The carrying frame (18) connected with the machine frame (5), based on the hinges and with the use of hydraulic drives used to pre-set a side and height.
