Convertible roof for hatchback design car

The roof comprises a swivel roll-over bar with a pair of arms situated behind the doors of the vehicle body. The bar is connected to the vehicle body by a joint (3) so that in the upright position, when the roof is closed, the bar is fixed by a lock (4) to the body, but when the roof is opened it is stored in a case in the body. The entire roof structure of the convertible cover is fitted on the roll-over bar by a rocker element (5). An element (7) is connected by a joint (8) which provides the connection with the front windscreen frame. A rear window frame (9) is fixed behind the bar and is supported through an articulated lever arrangement in the cover case area.
