PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the transmission capacity used for conference by broad band signals in the communication system. SOLUTION: The system KS is provided with subscriber stations T1 to T4 and conference equipments KE1, KE2 to mix signals, and each signal is sent from each station of each subscriber taking part in the conference to the conference equipments. The system is provided with at least the 1st and 2nd conference equipments KE1, KE2, the 1st conference equipment KE1 mixes signals from two subscriber stations T1, T2 or over to generate a component signal S12 and the 2nd conference equipment KE2 mixes the component signal S12 with other signals from one subscriber station T3(T4) or over. Since the mixed component signal has the same band width as that of the single signal, it is possible to reduce the required band width. |
