<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the number of part items and simplify the assembling work of a ball nut by connecting a motor rotor to the ball nut by a connecting means, and supporting the assembly of the motor rotor and the ball nut by a bearing means. SOLUTION: A motor rotor 6 is connected to a ball nut 2 through a connecting means 20, and the assembly of the ball nut 2 and the motor rotor 6 is supported through a bearing means 21. Namely, ball bearings as the bearing means 21 are arranged on both axial end parts of the motor rotor 6, respectively, and the connecting means 20 has a rotation inhibiting mechanism for inhibiting the relative rotation of the ball nut 2 and the motor rotor 6 and an axial movement inhibiting mechanism for inhibiting the relative axial movement of the ball nut and the motor rotor. The rotation inhibiting mechanism is formed by mutually engaging a pair of male and female splines formed on the ball nut 2 and the motor rotor 6, and the axial movement inhibiting mechanism is formed by inserting a wire ring into grooves formed on the both.</p> |
