COLUMN FOR KNEE OR ELBOW JOINT BRACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily adjust extending angle by jointing two column plates partly superimposed at the edge parts each other with a rivet member to be rotatable and by fixing a stopper member having a plurality of straight line portions to the under column plate of the superimposed plates to be demountable. SOLUTION: The column for knee joint brace comprises the upper and under column plates 3 and 2 jointed each other with a rivet member 41 and a stopper member 5 is jointed to the under column plate 2 with a screw 51 so as to be freely rotatable. The stopper member 5 has an approximately triangular shape, and either of the three sides A-C faces to a straight line portion 31 of the upper column plate 3. The extending angleθof the column is finely adjustable and depends on which side of the triangle is selected because the all of the distances between the three sides A-C and that from the fixing position of the stopper member 5 till the under column plate 2 are different. A column 1 can be limited in the bending angle by mounting a pin screw to either one of screw holes 6 formed on the under column plate 2.
