SOLUTION: This device is constituted of a first mode for directly transferring a toner image formed on a photoreceptor 1 to the final transfer body and a second mode for transferring the toner image to the final transfer body with an intermediate transfer belt 5. At this time, in the second mode, the intermediate transfer belt 5 is pivoted in a first direction where a transfer from the photoreceptor 1 is performed and in a second direction opposite to the first direction, where the transfer from the intermediate transfer belt 5 to the transfer body is performed. |
