PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the reconfiguration speed of a video image by reliving a calculation load in the method and device for coding/decoding processing for a digital image. SOLUTION: A digital image is divided into blacks with a proper size adjacent to each other but not overlapped with each other (2), a predetermined video image is subject to decimation processing 3, 4, the decimated video image is divided into same size of each block (5), a conversion parameter between each block and each part is calculated and each block of the digital image is coded by a parameter with respect to a part having a minimum distance after the conversion. In this decode processing, the same image as the predetermined video image in the coding is decimated and the decimated video image is divided into each part of the same size as each block and the parameter is used for each part of the predetermined decimated video image to reconfigure each block of the digital image. |
