摘要 |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain remote calibration with less noise ratio by applying a calibration signal and a reference signal to N-sets of element phase shifters so as to generate an optional and desired beam pattern with a coded signal and the reference signal subjected to orthogonal coding. SOLUTION: Coherent signals of a calibration signal and a reference signal generated by a coherent signal generator 100 are fed to N-sets of element phase shifters 50 of a beam shaping matrix 40 of a phased array system 12 via a band pass filter 72. The coding signal and the reference signals coded at them are sent to a remote location via a power amplifier 40 and a horn 90 and subject to coherent detection thereat. On the other hand, a controller 300 uses a calibration command module 302 to send a switching command to form an optional desired beam pattern via a switch 65 and a delay circuit 60 to the N-sets of elements. Thus, remote calibration is attained with a desired beam pattern and less noise ratio. |
