PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce image slippage or to attain the fast joining of partial images by deciding a joining position of two partial images in the direction orthogonal to the corresponding segment so as to secure the position matching with the segment and then joining those partial images together. SOLUTION: When the both of vertical/horizontal slippage are detected between both images of image memories A and B, the data on these images are shifted and composited for correction of the slippage degrees. In other words, a control part 3 sets the correction value set to the data of the memory A in the Y and X directions and then the correction value set to the data of the memory B in the Y and X directions in a DMAC (direct memory access controller) 51. Thus the DMAC 51 controls the reading of data out of both memories A and B based on those set correction value, and the composited image data are stored in an image memory C. The composited image data are also outputted to an external equipment to form an image there. |
