PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the article registration system which gives a specific relation to a plurality of article selection media used when articles to be purchased are selected and processes the dealings of te articles selected together at a time by using the article selection media to which the specific relation is given. SOLUTION: A transaction processor 3 sets parent-child relation for plural article selection terminals 1. The discrimination code for discriminating an article is inputted to an article selection terminal 1 and then the article discriminated with the discrimination code is selected and registered by a host device 2. Then transaction processes including the payment of the article which is selected and registered by using the article selection terminal for which the parent-child relation is set are performed by the transaction processor together at a time.
