PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a park-lock shifter having an extremely low posture by moving an actuator to actuate a locking member to a locked position and a released position, and moving a fastening member together with a shift lever. SOLUTION: When force is applied in the upward direction, a toggle joint 52 substantially pulls a pin 56 of a locking member from a notch of a park P, and can shift a shift lever 12 to a retreat R position, neutral N and an overdrive OD position. On the other hand, when it is deformed by sliding motion of a fastening assembly 19, a fastening member 21 can horizontally slide by a proper distance along a base 10, and adjusts itself to a demand of a stroke for a transmission in which a cable 33 is installed. Arrangement of this stroke multiplier assembly 22 adjusts itself to a stroke of the transmission actuated by the cable or a rod 33 connected to the tip of a fastening block 20. |
