PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an interpretation of a displayed composite image by utilizing coordinates and a format common to a basic electronic map, accumulating spectacle data at a common station, and displaying the data by most accurately matching them to a basic map image. SOLUTION: A lot of spectacles are picked up from high position cameras 12 set up at many points, and are accumulated and stored in a common station 10 as the spectacle data. When the spectacle images are converted into spectacle data and stored at the common station 10, information on a current position and a perspective method is stored at the same time by using a basic coordinates system and a format common to a basic electronic map for a city monitoring center 1 and an on-vehicle navigation device 13. These information, when the city monitoring center 1 and the on-vehicle navigation device 13 read own basic electronic map and re-compose a basic map image, correctly superimpose the basic map image on the spectacle image, in the same scale as thereon, which is read out of the common station 10 and composed. |
