PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for effectively utilizing frequency with a narrow signal band without reducing a measurement accuracy due to the presence of an obstacle when measuring the position of a traveling terminal based on the arrival time of a signal. SOLUTION: A base station has an antenna 31, a transmitter 33, a first receiver 34-1 for communication processing, second receivers 34-2 to 34-M for angle measurement signal processing, and an angle measurement signal processing means 43 for measuring the arrival angle of a signal which is transmitted from a terminal based on the output signal of the second receiver. Since the position of the above terminal is obtained based on the principles of triangulation based on the above arrival angle which is obtained by a plurality of base stations, there is no influence of the change of propagation delay time. Also, a spectrum diffusion technique for matching time is not required, thus narrowing a frequency band within a range for measuring azimuth. |
