<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply structured inexpensive analog/digital recording and reproducing device by using a head for the recording/reproducing of an analog system and changing the structure of a signal recording track. SOLUTION: In the case of an analog recording mode, an analog video signal processing part 11 and an analog sound signal processing part 31 process analog video signals and sound signals and output them to corresponding recording equalizers 13 and 33. The equalizer 13 and the equalizer 33 equalize the inputted respective analog video and sound signals so as to be recorded in an optimum state and output them. In the case of a digital recording mode, a digital video/ sound signal processing part 21 respectively processes digital video signals and sound signals and outputs them to the corresponding recording equalizer 23. The equalizer 23 equalizes the inputted respective digital video and sound signals so as to be recorded in the optimum state on a magnetic tape and outputs them.</p> |
