摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an infrared light source for infrared absorptimeter in which heating of absorptimeter is minimized by employing a flash lamp as the infrared light source and setting the response time of an infrared receiver shorter than the pulse duration of flash lamp. SOLUTION: A flat mirror grating 2, an input slit 3 for coupling infrared rays of multiple frequency, and an output slit 4 for coupling infrared rays of multiple frequency are provided on a board 1. Two concave mirrors 5, 6 are arranged oppositely to the grating 2 with a free space being provided between the grating 2 and concave mirrors 5, 6. An infrared light source, i.e., a flash lamp 7, is disposed on the outside of input slit 3 and an infrared ray receiving unit 8 is disposed on outside of output slit 4. The lamp 7 is imaged on an input coupling slit 3 through a concave mirror 9. A substance to be inspected exists in a space defined by the lamp 7, the concave mirror 9 and the slit 3. The response time of light receiving unit is set shorter than the pulse duration of lamp 7.
